Unlimited scenes, real transitions
Build as many scenes as your show needs — intro, main, screen demo, break card, outro — and switch between them live with Cut and Fade transitions at the duration you set.
StreamForge Studio gives you the complete studio workflow — unlimited scenes, camera, screen, mic and more sources, a live audio mixer, transitions, and real recording — with no downloads and no install. Press record, and the finished video downloads straight to your computer.
The workflow you'd expect from a desktop broadcast studio — scenes, sources, mixing, transitions — rebuilt to run entirely in a browser tab.
Build as many scenes as your show needs — intro, main, screen demo, break card, outro — and switch between them live with Cut and Fade transitions at the duration you set.
Camera, screen capture, microphone, browser window, image, media file, text, and solid color — stack them in layers, drag them into place, and resize them right on the canvas.
Per-source gain sliders, live level meters, and mute on every channel — plus a noise gate on the microphone so keyboard clatter and room hum stay out of your recording.
Preview the next scene before it goes to program, then take it live with your transition. Multiview shows every scene at once so you can cue the right shot without guessing.
Switch scenes, start and stop recording, and mute sources from the keyboard — set your own keys and run the show without ever reaching for the mouse mid-sentence.
What you see on the program canvas is what gets recorded — scenes, transitions, and mixed audio, composited into one video file that downloads the moment you stop.
Drop in your camera, share a screen or window, plug in your mic, and add text, images, or a media file. Your browser asks permission for camera and screen — nothing leaves your machine.
Drag sources into place, build the scenes your show moves through, set levels in the mixer, and pick Cut or Fade for switching between them.
Press Start Recording and run your show. When you stop, the composited program output — video and mixed audio together — downloads as a video file, ready to upload anywhere.
This is the real thing, in miniature: add a camera, share your screen, build scenes, ride the mixer, and record. Everything below actually works — the only sample limit is recording length.
Click a scene to take it to program.
The full studio runs in the browser, just like this sample. Your camera and screen ask for browser permission when you add them, and everything is captured and recorded locally on your machine — recordings download as video files when you stop.
Pick the plan that fits how you work — seats, resolution, and support change, the price doesn't. Every plan starts with a 1-week free trial.
For solo creators recording shows, lessons, and demos.
For producers and streamers who record every week.
For small teams producing together on shared shows.
Start your free week. Every plan begins with a 1-week free trial, then $39.99/month. Cancel anytime during the trial and you pay nothing.
Try the free sample firstNot in this web edition — and we'd rather say that plainly. Recordings are made and downloaded locally in your browser; live RTMP streaming to platforms is not included. You record the full program here, download the finished video file, and upload it wherever you publish. A browser page on its own can't push an RTMP stream, and any tool that implies otherwise is skipping a server in the middle.
Camera, screen or window capture, microphone, browser source, image, media file, text, and solid color. Stack them in any order, drag them around the canvas, resize them, and show or hide each one per scene. The free sample on this page includes camera, screen, mic, text, image, and color so you can feel how it works.
Studio Mode splits the studio into Preview and Program: you prepare the next scene in Preview, check it, then take it to Program with your chosen transition — no half-built scene ever goes out live. Multiview shows all your scenes at once in a grid, so you can see every shot you have available and cue the right one.
Recordings are WebM video files, created locally in your browser and downloaded to your computer the moment you stop recording. Nothing is uploaded to a server to make the file — the compositing, mixing, and encoding all happen on your machine. WebM plays in any modern browser and uploads directly to YouTube and most platforms.
Every plan — Creator, Pro, and Team — starts with a 1-week free trial at the full feature level of that plan. If you cancel during the trial week, you pay nothing. After the trial, the plan continues at $39.99/month until you cancel.
Cancel from your account's subscription page in a couple of clicks — no call, no retention gauntlet. Your studio keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for (or the end of the free trial week), and your downloaded recordings are yours to keep either way.
The sample on this page is the real studio with one limit: recordings stop at 30 seconds. Adding sources, building scenes, mixing audio, and switching with transitions all work exactly as they do in the full studio. Paid plans remove the recording cap and unlock the full resolution, Studio Mode, Multiview, and hotkey set for your plan.
